Jessie’s Jumbles Marvellous Markets

JJ1

As some of you may know I’m just a little bit addicted to rummaging! There I said it I’m an addict! Its the most fun apart obviously from my job, and this year I decided to take part in a few vintage and craft fairs in places I’d like to discover, with funny names or that I thought may be a nice weekend away for Keith and I. Jessie’s Jumble Marvellous Markets was a twitter find, run by Jude Turner, its a great mix of vintage and hand made stalls in various location around the south east. Jude put a lot of effort in sourcing stall holders, flyering almost the whole of Brighton as well as being listed in whats on guides for the south east. Thanks Jude for all the effort you put in, it really is appreciated.

I was in good company at this fair, beautiful handmade jewellery and crafts by LilyLou, Hoity Toity Jewellery as well as vintage by Annie B and 20th Century Parade   Josephine’s Vintage who had some incredible stall full of dresses, one of which Keithy bought me. Isn’t he sweet? All the stall holders were so nice, it was incredibly relaxed and I’d definitely recommend going along or taking part in the next event.  I’ll tempt you with my pictures.

What a busy few months its been! Its always nice to know that getting out and meeting new people, as well as going that extra mile for existing clients pays off. I’ve had a fun packed February and March and although I can’t post everything I’ve been up to, I’ve met some fantastic people and had some great experience, although I’m not sure my car will ever be quite the same having driven over 3000 miles.

Kirsties new show started filming in my home town Glasgow and I was thrilled to be asked to be part of it. I revisited Chelsea at Sheila Bownas design to photograph the new sofa which has been added to her collection, which is incredible. Worked with wonderful Katie and Richard at Luluzulu, they’re mummy loves tights are the must have tights for Mothers Day. Finally spent a wonderful couple of days with the dream communications team at Ceridian for their annual customer conference and shot a whole host of customer portraits. What a cool job!
